Burna Boy, Rema, and Adekunle Gold Make The headlines.

 By Michaels Monday

Burna Boy, the self-described "African Giant," is still building a name for himself internationally despite not having received a Grammy this year. The singer of "Last Last" will co-headline the 2023 Champions League final kickoff, which will take place on June 10 at Istanbul's Atatürk Olympic Stadium and be sponsored by Pepsi MAX, the UEFA Champions League announced last week.

Burna Boy collaborated with Leo Messi, the current UCL champion, Vini Jr., and Euro-winning Lionesses player Leah Williamson as Pepsi MAX ambassadors to inspire fans to show off their greatest dancing moves or ball knowledge by posting them on TikTok with the hashtag #PepsiKickOffShow.

Rema, whose song "Calm Down" has since grown into a global anthem, made headlines for two different reasons. Initially, a video of uncovered Iranian females dancing to a version of his song, "Calm Down," starring Selena Gomez, went viral in Tehran's Ekbatan neighbourhood. The girls, however, were eventually imprisoned for dancing in public, which is against Iranian law.

The second prediction is that Rema and Selena Gomez's "Calm Down" will replace Wizkid and Tems' "Essence" in the Hot 100's top 10 this week. 'Essence' is the biggest hit lead Nigerian song of all time. As they talked about the inventiveness and enthusiasm of the music sensation born Divine Ikubor, this potential sent his admirers into a frenzy.

With the song "Party No Dey Stop," which also features Zinoleesky, Adekunle Gold made his Def Jam Records debut last week. Tunji Balogun, CEO of Def Jam Recordings, who is eager to expand the business's African portfolio, facilitated his international agreement with the record label. In July, the label will also release Gold's fifth studio album.
